Egg less wheat Cake without Oven

Egg less Wheat Cake without Oven:

This Healthy and Tasty Cake Recipe is made of Wheat and Dates baked without Oven , an alternate method to the Maida based cake. In addition, this recipe is made without egg, condensed milk, Butter and  baked without oven. Baking an egg less cake without Oven and using cooker will give an enriched experience. Believe me, it only takes 45 minutes and get the same soft and fluffy cake that you can expect from an oven. I can say this as I have experienced it is front of my eyes and now presenting you to believe it.

Ingredients:

  • Seedless dates-8 Nos
  • Whole Wheat flour-1 cup
  • Hot Milk-1/4 cup
  • Curd—1/4 cup
  • Brown sugar-1/2 cup
  • Baking soda—1 Teaspoon
  • Ghee—4 Teaspoon

Instructions:

  1. Firstly, Soak the Seedless Dates in Hot milk for an hour. After grind it well. Keep Aside.
  2. Secondly, Grind the brown sugar into powder. Keep Aside.
  3. Let’s start to mix Whole Wheat flour, Brown sugar powder, Curd, Dates puree, Baking soda and 2 Teaspoon of Ghee, using Hand Blender or Mixie.
  4. Once you blend well all the ingredients, Lets Grease the bowl with 2 Teaspoon of Ghee, make sure it is greased from all the inner side of the Bowl. Then you have to pour the cake batter into bowl.
  5. After that , Pre heat the cooker for 10 minutes in high flame, Spread 2 Cups of Salt inside the bottom of the cooker evenly.
  6. Above the salt keep an idly plate or cooker plate or oven safe bowl. This will help in cake away from direct heat. Direct heat can cause burning smell in the cake.
  7. Now place the Batter bowl on the top of it.
  8. Most Importantly , Close the cooker lid without whistle and gasket.
  9. Turn the stove on Low flame and let it bake for 30-45 minutes.
  10. After 30 minutes, let’s open the cooker and check the cake. It has fluffed from the outer side, let’s check from the inside with fork or toothpick. Insert fork or toothpick center of cake.If it comes out clean, cake is baked. Else we need to bake it for 10 more minutes.
  11. Once the cake has baked well, take out the cake bowl. Wait for 5 minutes. Then Scrape the bowl’s side with a knife and push out the cake.
  12. Separate the cake from the bowl with the help of a knife.
  13. In Addition, Top with more dry fruits and nuts to make it look more attractive or you can choose to eat it in its current form.
  14. Further allow the cake to cool completely and later cut into thick slices and serve.
  15. Unique cake Recipe for Vegetarians as it is made of Egg less wheat cake without Oven.

Note:

  • If you do not prefer Ghee to add then replace with Butter or neutral flavored oil.
  • Brown sugar or sugar can replace with Jaggery.
  • Curd  can replace with One Teaspoon of Vinegar.
  • You can’t bake cake in microwave unless it has convection mode.
