How to make Thattai Recipe:
Thattai Recipe is very crispy and Crunchy. You can make this just 15 minutes. It is called thattai in tamil. It is also called papdi. Thattai Recipe is best evening snack to all. Am going to make it more healthy and tasty now. Because I add drumstick leaves in it. You can add any other green leaves with it. But drumstick leaves are best combination for this rice flour snack. Thattai Recipe is instant snacks recipe.

Junk food is very harmful and unhealthy to our bodies. It contains high amount of sugar salt, fat, oil, artificial color and flavors. Junk food invites all the diseases.

Healthy eating gives you the nutrients you need to maintain your healthy Mind, body and soul. These nutrients include Calcium, fiber, fat, protein, carbohydrate, water, Vitamin and Minerals. Healthy eating habit only helps to improve your metabolism. Metabolism is an energy that is used to burn fat or calories you take every day.
We must encourage good and healthy eating habits only, So that our future generations will be healthy, happy and fit. Most importantly we should teach kids from an early age at the harmful effects of junk foods. In our life Health is the most important thing.
Ingredients for Thattai Recipe:
- Rice flour -1 cup
- Soaked channa dal or moong dal-3 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds/ sesame seeds -1 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder-1 teaspoon
- Garlic paste-1 teaspoon
- Gingelly oil-3 teaspoon
- One handful of Drumstick leaves
- Curry leaves as needed
- Salt as needed
Instructions for make Thattai Recipe:
- Firstly take rice flour in a bowl
- Secondly add soaked channa dal or moong dal. Dal must be soaked atleast 2 hours.
- Thirdly add chilli powder, garlic paste, salt and drumstick leaves. Mix well.
4.Next add hot gingelly oil. It helps to make that snack more crispy. Mix well. Mix dough soft by sprinkling water little by little.
5.Make sure that you fill atleast 1/2 of the pan with oil. Make thattai using your palm or plastic covers like milk cover and drop into oil.
6.Heat oil in a deep frying pan, on a low flame. Put rice thattai into oil until golden colour and remove from oil.
7.Crispy and Cruncy Thattai snack recipe is ready.
I never use Refined Products Like Salt, Sugar And Oil. Also I don’t Use Maida, Artificial Color and Flavors for my Recipes. I Never use Aluminium and Non Stick Utensils and Oven in My Cooking.
